GC Yalata Road Trip

April 16th, 2012

The Crew from GC took to the road heading for Yalata touring the west coast of south australia passings towns of History of current and past times, such as Cenduna, koonibba,Penong, stopping in at the Nundroo Road house and for the first time in 4 years the Bar was opened and GC took to the stage and playing to great bunch of locals getting the rare oppurtunity to enjoy a night of live original music in thier town, The band had a truly enjoyable night as a prelude to thier final destination of Yalata. Here the band enjoyed the cultural exchange and the sharing of live music with the folk of yalata including some work shops , drums were indeed the junior groups flame and good night was enjoyed by all.
A big thankyou to those involved in making this happen.The band then travelled back to home in Port Augusta and now look forward to the next event in two weeks.

OutBack Ball a Belter!

GC would like to extend a Big Thank You to all those who organised and attended the 2012 Out Back Ball last weekend. The Band were honoured to have been invited to be part of this awe inspiring event. 300 people attended and a huge amount was raised for a number of local charities.
Well done to the Ball organising Committee!
The night prior GC played to a fab crowd @ The North Star Hotel in the gorgeous Flinders Ranges town of Melrose. Thanks again to all those who made the band feel so welcome!

GC Video Shoot Begins in Style

GC have begun work on their very first video. Recently Ash and Andy took an awe inspiring Mini Moke ride along the vast desert roads of country South Australia in search of the perfect video landscapes - and they found 'em.
Shooting begins in the next few weeks so stay tuned for updates and photos from the shoot.

GC Brand New Album - Recording beginning Autumn 2012

GC are proud to announce the beginning of work on their Brand New (as yet untitled) album. The boys have been writing furiously and have now whittled tracks down to a select and very special few. In recent week's Robbo's been busy laying down drum tracks as the album's scaffolding. The rest of the band's tracks will follow along shortly.
We'll keep you posted of events LIVE from the NW8 studio as they happen. The album's due to be released early next year and the boys will be demo-ing songs during their action packed live shows this year.
